What courses can I take and where are they offered?
Dual Enrollment students at Wiregrass can take both occupational courses or academic core courses, many of which are transferable to the University System of Georgia colleges and universities.
At Wiregrass, if you’re ready to jump into your major, you can do that during your first semester and throughout your time at Wiregrass. Please click this link for information on our occupational programs. Our classes are small, our instructors are the best, and our service is second to none, so please contact us today if this is an option is best for you.
If you are interested in taking core, Wiregrass is your best option! Wiregrass offers classes in a quarter-like format called Core Complete, with students meeting face-to-face for 50 minutes four days a week for eight weeks on our Valdosta Campus, PLUS we offer core face-to-face and online during our full 15 week semester and during our 10 week Express Term. At Wiregrass, Dual Enrollment students can select the format and term that works best for them. We hope you will choose to get CORE COMPLETE at Wiregrass!
Courses may be taught face-to-face on the Wiregrass college campuses, on the high school campuses, online, hybrid, or via Tandberg distance education. Students will be allowed to take up to 15 credit hours per semester at each college they attend. Students can enroll in Wiregrass courses during Fall, Spring, or Summer Semesters.
