Accelerated Career Diploma
Accelerated Career Pathways give eligible students an exciting opportunity to fast-track their education. With this program, students can earn both a high school diploma and one of the following:
- An Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS)
- A Technical Diploma
- An Approved Program Leading to Licensure (PLL)
- Two Approved Paired Technical Certificates of Credit (TCCs)
Students interested in pursuing Accelerated Career Diploma should first contact their High School Counselor.
High School Requirements:
- 2 English Courses (including EOC course)
- 2 Mathematics Courses (including EOC course)
- 2 Science Courses (including EOC course)
- 2 Social Studies Courses*
- 1 Health/Fitness Course
Students may replace one Social Studies course with an additional Math course. Local School Districts may NOT add additional requirements above the state minimum.

Financial Aid Opportunities:
The ACE Grant fully covers the cost of the selected pathway and provides funding until program completion for all public Georgia high school students, with no limit on the number of hours. Students interested in receiving the ACE Grant should complete the GSFAPPS on the GA Futures website.
Transitioning to the University System After Accelerated Career Diploma Graduation:
Students planning to enroll in a University System of Georgia school after earning an Accelerated Career Diploma should consult their chosen institution to determine any additional admission requirements.
