Fitzgerald, GA – The Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Foundation North Thanks and Giving Banquet is returning after a four-year hiatus. The community event is scheduled on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. in the Charles Harris Learning Center on the Ben Hill-Irwin Campus of Wiregrass. This year’s entertainment will be award-winning magician, comedian, author, and speaker Mark Robinson. He is the owner of Best Motivational Speakers, an agency that specializes in entertainment-based motivational speakers. There will be a delicious dinner with your choice of prime rib or jerk chicken and all the trimmings. Tickets are $50.00 each ($25.00 is tax deductible). The Wiregrass Foundation North provides support to students from Atkinson, Ben Hill, Coffee, Irwin, and Wilcox Counties in several ways including academic scholarships, GED testing scholarships, and program books, supplies, and equipment purchases.
