Fitzgerald, Ga— Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Foundation North awarded multiple scholarships to help students complete their education and develop workforce skills. Two students from the Ben Hill-Irwin Campus were among the 22 Wiregrass students awarded scholarships, which were made possible because of generous college supporters. The scholarships will help pay for tuition, fees, books, and/or supplies needed for their programs. The scholarships were merit-based and applicants had to complete an application and provide letters of support.

The Ben Hill-Irwin Campus students awarded scholarships for Fall Semester are Christian Trejo, Georgia Automotive Dealers Association Scholarship, Automotive Technology program; and Anna Warren, Marion Massee, III Memorial Scholarship, Education Degree program.

Anna shared that she plans to use her scholarship to help pay for gas for her to travel for a class on the Valdosta Campus.

If you or your business would like to support students through scholarships, please contact Crissy Staley, Executive Director of Fundraising.
