Fitzgerald, GA— Wiregrass Georgia Technical College is offering a Driver’s Education class this summer at the Ben Hill-Irwin Campus on June 20-23, 2022. Joshua's Law requires 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of drive time to receive a Class D license. Participants must be at least 15 years of age and possess a Learner's Permit. Participants must attend all four class dates Monday thru Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and complete six hours of behind-the-wheel drive time with a certified instructor. The cost of the course is $350. There are a limited number of scholarships available through the Georgia Driver’s Education Commission. Class registration must be completed online.
