Fitzgerald, GA – The Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Ben Hill-Irwin Campus was notified of a possible security concern for Thursday, September 2. Out of an abundance of caution, College officials decided to move that campus to a virtual environment for September 2. Due to the sensitivity of the information and ongoing investigation, the college is not able to release additional details at this time. Officials shared that the safety of students and employees is and will be the number priority. The college will release updates when available and make any announcements on the Wiregrass Facebook page and the website at Wiregrass.edu. The Valdosta, Coffee, and Cook Campuses remain open today, September 2.
