Fitzgerald, GA— Wiregrass Georgia Technical College will be holding an American Heart Association certification for first responders in the community or workplace on April 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on the Ben Hill- Irwin Campus at 667 Perry House Rd. You will develop skills to effectively assess and maintain life from the critical minutes immediately following an emergency until the arrival of emergency medical services personnel. The course covers Adult & Child First Aid, CPR and AED. A two-year certification card is awarded at completion and the cost is $65.
