Fitzgerald, GA – This September marks the 50-year anniversary of the opening of the Ben Hill-Irwin Campus of Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. To celebrate this important milestone, the Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Foundation North Board is offering an opportunity to commemorate this special occasion by offering the opportunity to purchase engraved bricks to be placed on the Ben Hill-Irwin Campus.
One may purchase a brick(s) for $50 each and add an engraved message or name of your choice. Funds raised from the sale of the brick campaign will be used to provide student scholarships. “We are proud of our history the campus has had over the past 50 years,” shared Dr. Tina K. Anderson, Wiregrass President. “What better way to celebrate this mile marker than to invest in the education and future of Wiregrass students through scholarships.”
Wiregrass will be hosting an event in September to celebrate the 50-year anniversary. The deadline to purchase a brick is August 3. For an order form or more information, please contact Mona Paulk, Executive Director of Student Success, mona.paulk@wiregrass.edu, or Crissy Staley, Executive Director of Fundraising at Crissy.staley@wiregrass.edu.
