The Impact of Giving

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College is committed to changing lives through providing our students with hands-on educational experiences designed to prepare them to successfully enter, or to enhance the skills needed to advance in their chosen career. By supporting the Wiregrass Foundation, your gifts provide students access to state-of-the-art technology, facilities, and financial resources needed to succeed in the classroom and in their career field. With four campuses and more than 100 programs of study, the impact of supporting the Wiregrass Foundation is felt in the hospitals, offices and industries located throughout our 11-county service area. The Wiregrass Foundation invites you to come for a visit to learn how your support can make an impact.

How Donations are Used

Both foundations are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations established to support students and programs in their respective counties. With the generous contributions of our donors, the Foundations can do many things to support students in developing skills needed in the workplace, provide equipment for programs, and assist Wiregrass Georgia Tech in providing workforce development. Here are some of the many uses of donors’ contributions:

• Scholarships for students
• Textbook assistance for students
• Support for GOAL (Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership award) nominees and finalists
• Equipment and supplies for programs
• Program expansions
