SPRING/SUMMER 2017 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY is scheduled for Thursday, July 13, 2017 at John Hunt Auditorium, UGA Conference Center, Tifton, Georgia. All credit programs and GED graduates will walk at 10 a.m.
GRADES FOR SPRING 2017 Semester will be available to students on Friday, May 12, at 12 noon. Students may view their unofficial transcripts by logging in to their BanWeb account. Processing of official transcripts will begin on Monday, May 15.
PLEASE NOTE: Fall 2016 degrees, diplomas and technical certificates for eligible graduates are expected to be available for pick up on your local campus February 6, 2017. Those applying late may not be immediately available. Please check student email for confirmation that your credential is ready for pick up and confirm location. In order to be eligible for a degree, diploma, or technical certificate of credit, your must meet all of the following requirements:
Students who have a break in enrollment will be entered under a new catalog term. Course substitutions or waivers must be approved by the Program Coordinator or Academic Dean of the course area. Some courses are subject to a 10-year expiration date.
Students who have a Graduation GPA (average of all courses specifically applied toward your graduation for the major) of at least 3.5 will graduate with honors.
Please Note: Graduation GPA is calculated using final grades. Your honor status for commencement will reflect all of your final grades at the time of commencement and may not reflect expected semester final grades, grade changes or IPs. Transient grades and transfer credit do not affect your grade point average but may be required to graduate.

**Please apply to graduate during advisement/pre-registration for your last semester and no later than the second week of the last semester you will be attending. Note: all students that wish to receive any diploma, degree or certificate they have completed must fill out the Free Graduation Application and turn in to the Registrar’s Office as outlined above.

Applications received after the publication deadline date may not be listed in the commencement program.
Late applicants may also experience a delay in receiving their technical certificate, diploma or degree.
