Emergency Preparedness

The president of WGTC or designee is authorized to close the college if conditions exist that may threaten the health and safety of students and employees. The President is also authorized to delay the opening hour of the academic day or to release students and employees before the normal day ends if hazardous conditions exist. Closing or delayed openings will be announced by all available media.

Public Relations and Marketing

myConnect (WGTC Community) is a communication portal used by Wiregrass to share news and information with the community. Wiregrass will use myConnect as its Emergency Response System. User can choose to receive messages via text, phone or email and can opt into groups based on preferences and need.
