Wiregrass Tech Receives Donation from Southeastern Credit Union

Southeastern Credit Union Makes Donation
Wiregrass students will be benefiting from the donation received from Southeastern Credit Union to the college’s Foundation South. Valdosta, GA -- Wiregrass Georgia Technical College received a generous donation of $5,000 from Southeastern Credit Union recently during the college’s Thanks and Giving Campaign. President/CEO Mike Gudely presented the check to Wiregrass President Dr. Tina K. Anderson and Crissy Staley, Executive Director of Fundraising for Wiregrass.

“Wiregrass appreciates supporters like Southeastern Credit Union and many others for supporting the mission of our college, workforce development,” shared Staley. “The monies will be used for student scholarships and to help purchase brand new technology and equipment.”

“The support Wiregrass Tech receives from our Foundation donors is changing lives,” said Dr. Tina Anderson, President Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. “Without the Foundation’s support it would be impossible to provide students access to state-of-the-art technology and instruction. We thank you for giving the gift of education to your community.”

Wiregrass Foundation South is a 501(c)(3) organization supporting the Wiregrass students and programs in Foundation South are: Berrien, Brooks, Cook, Echols, Lanier and Lowndes.
