At WGTC we strive to give each of our students an employment-driven education experience. Today, more than 100 programs of study, including credit and noncredit courses, and distance learning options, prepare students to embark on a new career, upgrade their employment skills, or transfer to a four-year institution. Through an open-admissions policy, the College maximizes access to excellent, convenient, and affordable academic and workforce development programs. The admissions policies and procedures of the Technical College System of Georgia and Wiregrass Georgia Technical College assure our citizens equal access to the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for them to secure personally satisfying and socially productive employment. By design and implementation, the policies and procedures governing admissions to Wiregrass Georgia Technical College will:
All students must be at least 16 years of age at the time of application to Wiregrass Georgia Technical College.
A high school diploma or GED is required for admission to any program at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College.
Wiregrass Georgia Technical College admits students regardless of age, sex, race, national origin, color or handicap. Students seeking admission into any credit or non-credit course or program must be at least 16 years of age. All applicants must submit a WGTC application with a non-refundable application fee.
